For this paper, you must draw on your own experiences and stories. Think about a situation where you needed something from your audience, I.E. money, favors, tickets to a concert, etc. Draw from your own life experiences, something that happened to you in the past or that you observed. It does not have to be too personal, please no secrets! You will write using persuasive tactics and make more convincing arguments. How did you convince parents (or whomever) to buy you a new car or take you on a trip? What if you failed to convince them? What would you have done differently to change the outcome? Please also write about only one persuasive experience to keep it simple. Keep in mind that you will write this paper not to me but to whomever you were trying to convince in your narrative. They will be your audience. This paper should be 3-4 pages in length double-spaced with a works cited page. You must have at least three sources (3) to back up your arguments.
I also already started it a little bit and would like it if the writer could continue writing what I had.

Things to Consider:
-Be aware of your audience, why should they care about your plight?
-What are the arguments you are making? Are you clear? If you were not successful in the past, think about what you would do differently.
-What rhetorical strategies did you employ? Could you have used more logos or pathos? Maybe both? What about ethos? What about decorum? What kind of language should you use? What about kairos? How should you organize this letter?
-What kind of evidence are you using to support you claims? Is your source from a website? If so, how credible is it? Explain your sources and introduce them to your reader naturally.
-Do not use the five rhetorical terms (I.E. logos, ethos, pathos, decorum, kairos) in your paper. Instead, your narrative should naturally have descriptions showing how you set up credibility or try to receive empathy.
-Remember that you are trying to connect with your audience, so how do you make arguments that make your readers listen to your points?
please read what I have so far and use it as an example of what I want you to write about. please do not use anything I wrote because I quickly wrote it and it isn’t good.
